Red Hat Goes All-In for Containers With OpenShift 3 and Atomic Enterprise Platform

Red Hat today announced a new version of its OpenShift platform-as-a-service (PaaS) offering and the first release of the Red Hat Atomic Enterprise platform. Both products were announced at the Red Hat Summit here, and both have containers at the core as a means to enable and accelerate enterprise application deployment.

In an exclusive video interview with eWEEK,Paul Cormier, Red Hat executive vice president and president of products and technologies, discusses what the two new products are all about and why his company is a leader of the Open Container Project (OCP), which was announced on June 22.
