database and recently released 9i application server are available
for the new Linux 2.4 kernel….”

and better performance on relational databases, such as
Oracle.”

“In a prepared statement announcing the availability of its
products for Linux 2.4, Oracle said that in contrast to
“competitors currently running their Linux 2.4 products in pilot or
beta mode,” Oracle 8i can now exploit the scalability and
performance of the new kernel.”
