“The Mammoth Project is a Linux cluster built at the Centre de
Calcul Scientifique of The University of Sherbrooke with funds from
the RQCHP. It is composed of two parts, the first, ‘serial’ will be
equiped with Pentium 4 connected by Gigabit network and the second,
‘parallel’ will be equiped with Opteron connected by an Infiniband
network. The ‘parallel’ part will probably be the most powerful
computer in Canada…”
