“These tricks tested on Firefox 3.5.1 Ubuntu Karmic Koala,
Ubuntu Jaunty and PCLinuxOS 2009.2

“1- Disable Extension Compatibility Check
This is useful when you want to use an extension but not supported
by your Firefox version installed.This will disable extension
compatibility checks so you can install unsupported ones.

“Key : extensions.checkCompatibility Default Value : It does not
exist, you have to create it (Enter “False” as value if you want to
disable checking) What i am using : I do not use it (= True)

“2- Disable Delay Time When Installing Add-ons
This is the countdown you see while you try to install an add-on.I
do not install and use more than 3-4 add-ons but you should disable
the delay if you are an experience user and installing a lot of
add-ons.”
