BW: Promotions.com Standardizes On Va Linux Servers for Web and Application Server Infrastructure

VA Linux announced that Promotions.com, the Internet
promotion solutions company, is powering its Web and application
server infrastructure with over one hundred servers from VA Linux
Systems.

“Promotions.com CUSTOM SOLUTIONS uses VA Linux systems to serve
custom promotions and direct marketing applications for its clients
— including top companies such as World Wrestling Federation,
Autobytel.com, Road Runner and NBC. Promotions.com CUSTOM SOLUTIONS
creates and executes custom promotions for marketers to run on
their own Web sites, integrating online and offline promotional
campaigns to maximize return on investment.”

“Promotions.com also uses 2U (3.5″) rackmount servers from VA
Linux to manage traffic from advertisers on Webstakes.com, the
company’s media property and promotion portal. Top advertisers
include LifeMinders, ESPN.com and Walt Disney’s GO.com.”
