“Continuing its commitment to deliver a scalable software
platform that addresses specific customer needs, Technauts Inc.,
today announced eServer.group, the newest eServer technology,
featuring application-level clustering and load balancing for mail
and Web servers.”

This soon-to-be-patented technology eliminates a single
point of failure and makes the notion of fluid networks a reality.
eServer.group, a first time solution on a Linux platform, is part
of eServer Frameware, a software architecture that is a dynamic and
scalable platform for enabling services in ISP/ASP and corporate
environments.

“eServer.group expands Technauts’ server appliance solution by
providing a broader availability of applications at an affordable
cost. Technauts’ clustering and load balancing capability
eliminates the need for additional, redundant hardware to maintain
high-availability of server applications. This technology features
a distributed cluster controller that can fail over to other
similarly equipped machines in the cluster. Load balancing is based
on several criteria such as client weighting, resource load and
processor utilization. The Technauts solution is more
cost-effective to scale and the application-level capability means
you can dynamically reapportion application load in a cluster of
multi-purpose devices.”
