Electronics Weekly: Transmeta to reveal secrets of ‘Crusoe’

“Today (Wednesday, Jan 19) one of Silicon Valley’s most eagerly
awaited, but most closely guarded, secrets will be unveiled – the
first product from Transmeta, codenamed ‘Crusoe’.”

“The five-year-old company, backed by one of America’s richest
men – Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen – employs Linux inventor
Linus Torvalds and is headed up by former chief SPARC architect
David Ditzel.”

Despite intense speculation, no one has discovered what
Transmeta is trying to do….
