“Before the Internet brought us the ability to type in a phrase
and find the answers to our questions, we had to rely on other
people in real life, TV, newspapers, magazines, and books for our
information. If you wanted to learn about something you picked up a
book, read, and remembered that information. According to Columbia
University, that is no longer the case and we don’t ‘know’ and
retain as much information as we used to.”
