IBM offers six Linux sessions at RS/6000 Technical University

Thanks to Simon Hill
for the tip.

IBM will be offering
six sessions on Linux
at the IBM RS/6000
Technical University
, a conference which will be held September
13 – 17, 1999 in Atlanta, Georgia. The Linux sessions
include:

  • L01 – Installing Red Hat Linux
  • L02 – Basic Linux
  • L03 – Configuring PPP on Red Hat Linux
  • L06 – Linux and Bourne Again Shell Programming
  • L07 – Linux Introduction: What is it, who’s using it, and
    why?
  • L08 – Linux for UNIX Professionals

The printed brochure mentions several other sessions:

  • Linux TCP/IP Administration
  • Linux e-Business With Apache Webserver
  • Linux Integration With Windows (Samba)

It’s not clear why these are listed in the brochure, but not on the
website. Let’s hope they are being added rather than dropped.
