“Dell Computer on Wednesday announced that effective immediately
it will make available Red Hat Software’s Linux 6.0 OS,
factory-installed on select computers in the United States and
Europe.”
“Red Hat 6.0 is now available on select configurations of Dell
OptiPlex business desktop computers, PowerEdge servers, and Dell
Precision WorkStations in the United States; the OS is available on
select Dell Precision WorkStations in Europe starting Wednesday as
well. In a release issued Wednesday, Dell also said that
availability in the Asia-Pacific region is expected later in the
second quarter.”
