“IBM inked a deal with Red Hat Software Inc. to optimize IBM
server hardware to run the Red Hat Linux operating system. Both
companies will jointly provide technical support and training for
IBM Netfinity servers, as well as Thinkpad laptop computers, PC 300
Commercial Desktops and IntelliStation servers running Red Hat
Linux. The companies also will collaborate with IBM business
partners. IBM and Red Hat did not disclose ship dates or pricing
for the products.”
