Linux platform yesterday formally launched the Linux@World
consortium for enhancing the distribution of the operating
system.”
“The establishment of the consortium is an important part of
Linux-related companies in securing effective avenues for marketing
and servicing the operating system,” said one consortium
official.”
“Comprised of mostly applications companies, the consortium is
expected to provide Linux users in Korea with easy access to
purchasing the software and receiving one-stop aftersales
service.”
