Linux Australia: Linux.conf.au domain has a future

“This week, the AUDA called for proposals regarding the
future of the second-level domain names (2LDs) conf.au and info.au.

“Linux Australia president, Stewart Smith said the group, which
runs an annual Linux and open source conference using the
linux.conf.au domain name, was not threatened by the AUDA move.

“Instead, Linux Australia plans to submit a proposal addressing
the future purpose of the conf.au domain.”
