Hi. Our family project: “The Linux Newbie Administrator Guide”
has been significantly updated again. The current version is 0.21.
Since the last public announcement, the contents have been roughly
doubled, scores of improvement made and typos corrected. More
additions and improvements are in progress.

The Linux Newbie Administrator Guide contains simple (hopefully)
and minimalistic answers to some problems that a Linux newbie might
encounter while setting up, using, and administrating his/her home
machine or home network.

Newbie administrators are welcome to visit:

We also received feedback suggesting that our FAQ part may be of
interest to “not-so-newbie” home Linux users too:

Comments, contributions, links, mirrors, and distributors are
greatly appreciated!

Best regards,
