call for papers for the second ELEC technical conference to be
held on Friday, October 27th at the Wyndham Westborough Hotel, 5400
Computer Drive, Westborough, Mass.”
“Rick Lehrbaum, ELEC technical conference chair, said “the
world’s first Embedded Linux Expo & Conference held in San Jose
last month was a huge success! The ELEC technical conference was
completely sold out by the morning of the event, resulting in
‘standing room only’ during nearly all the presentations.” Lehrbaum
also stated that “one pleasant surprise was the international
flavor of the event, with participants attending from Armenia,
Canada, England, Germany, Korea, China, South Korea, Singapore,
Taiwan, the UK, and, of course, the US.”
“ELEC technical presentations are given by Chief Technology
Officers, (CTOs) or equivalent senior technical experts, and should
focus on technical issues associated with integrating Linux and
Linux-related technologies into embedded system applications.
Priority will be given to selecting presentations that offer
immediate technical value to the attendees and assist in better
understanding issues, challenges, processes, and techniques that
can be used to successfully and rapidly develop Linux-based
