“I was pleasantly surprised when I received Linux: Installation,
Configuration, and Use from Addison-Wesely the other day. Although
the book is very thick it is packed with excellent information and
written in a concise and easy to understand manner, not typical of
the other ‘Exodus’ sized Linux books I’ve encountered.”
“The book is filled with general information on a lot of
topics and tries to incorporate as much as possible, although the
author admits it is virtually impossible to incorporate everything
that Linux has to offer. Throughout the chapters, the author
incorporates little side boxes with either reference material or
tips that are extremely easy to memorize and I found excellent for
putting things to my permanent memory.”
