LinuxPR: IndyBox Systems Releases First AMD Athlon Linux System

“IndyBox Systems…the world’s leading manufacturer of Linux
computers, released their AMD Athlon processor based KA Series
today (09/15/99) at 12:01AM EST. The IndyBox KA Series
incorporates a single AMD Athlon processors, Seagate ATA/66 8GB
(billion bytes), or 13GB hard disk drives, Matrox Millenium G400
video controller, with up to 384MB of 100MHz memory in a IndyBox
mid-tower chassis, IndyBox 4U and 6U rack mount
configurations.

Systems will release the world’s first AMD Athlon based GNU/Linux
system commercially available! Our KA series compliments our
existing XA series utilizing an AMD K6-2 and K6-III processors and
in particular to its floating-point capabilities which has been
