“Microsoft’s and LinuxPPC’s CrackThisBox contests are still a
hot topic. Much has happened in the last days and so Rado has
decided to write a sequel to his previous story Slap in the face.
If you are interested in these things you will probably enjoy
reading this.”

“It is not just a slap anymore. After a short time of “Net
silence”, Linux box is on the Net again, while the Win2K server is
often reachable only if it’s Web pages are cached in some proxy.
But to be honest, my last attempt to access their pages was
succesful. It seems that their recent upgrade to newer build was “a
good thing”(TM). Or, is it the new architecture – a PIII/500MHz
with 256MB of RAM? It doesn’t matter, for it seem to run a little
better now.

“We should all salute Microsoft for having so much courage
to make this sort of contest.”
