Mozilla Firefox 52.0.2 Released to Fix Crash on Startup on Linux, Other Issues

Mozilla Firefox 52.0.2 comes about eleven days after the first point release, versioned 52.0.1, which most of you probably use on your personal computer at the moment of reading this article, and which addressed a critical security issue, specifically an integer overflow discovered in the createImageBitmap() function. The Mozilla Firefox 52.0.2 point release does not appear to patch any security flaws. Instead it addresses a crash that occurred on startup on various GNU/Linux distributions, repairs the loading of tab icons on session restore, and fixes an issue where new Firefox installs would fail to prompt the user to change the default browser setting.
