“This is an Official Media Advisory. It just looks a little
different … and it should!

On Monday, October 25, 1999 at 2:00 p.m. EST, we will launch
the world’s first free Open Source application service provider
(ASP).

Opendesk.com will provide virtually any computer user on any
platform with access to FREE software applications they can use
every day — from anywhere — in English, French or Chinese (with
Spanish and German coming soon).

This web site will also be a place where the software
development community can get free access to all the source code of
all of the applications and core technologies under an Open Source
license.

The computer community has been closed for too long. On Monday,
we blow it wide open!

In the mean time, check out our “first steps” now at http://www.opendesk.com.”
