“What got me thinking along these lines is that I’ve been
watching the Windows/Linux wars for some time. The more heated it
gets, the less it has to do with usability and the more it has to
do with OS fanaticism. I’ll admit up front that I really like
Linux.”
“But, as I’ve said before, until my mom can install Linux
without a Linux geek at her side, it’s a dead issue. And the
next person who says, “You’re not a real Linux user until you’ve
compiled your own kernal”, will be shot. Pah-lease, I just want to
use it, I don’t want to make love to it…“
