“In this series of Linux desktop graphical environment
overviews, we saw widely used KDE and GNOME a while back. Today,
we’ll take a look at XPde. This Linux graphical environment looks
like a carbon copy of Microsoft Windows XP and it runs very much
independently of KDE and GNOME.

“The odd thing about this graphical environment is that it gives
you the Microsoft Windows XP feel and look, but no emulation of
Windows applications or clipboard compatibility between Qt and
GTK+, or it runs only on x86 systems…”
