Pass the Source, Please

“It couldn’t have happened to a nicer company. Last week US
software vendor SCO filed for Chapter 11 protection from its
creditors, one step short of bankruptcy. Its days on this earth,
mercifully, appear numbered.

“In August, SCO lost another round in its interminable battle
with IBM and Utah neighbour Novell over the ownership of the Unix
operating system. It is the latest in a string of legal defeats for
SCO that–even putting things in a favourable light–you would have
