PlanetHardware: Linux, Not On Everybody’s Desktop

“… there will be no problem for Linux to take a greater share
of the server market but I do not foresee that happening on the
desktop for a couple of reasons.”

  1. Un-finished Software.
  2. No widely accepted GUI.
  3. Hardware vendors not offering support.
