TrueSpectra today announced the release of Image Server v4.1
that broadens the OS support to include Linux Red Hat 7.3. The
company also announced a version for Mac OS X that will be
available in the first half of 2003. This new release of the Image
Server also includes an improved extension for Macromedia
Dreamweaver MX users.

TrueSpectra’s Image Server integrates easily within any Web
development environment. The software is available as a plug-in to
IIS and Apache Web Servers, which eliminates the need for purchase
of additional hardware, or can be installed on a dedicated device.
Once installed, developers can easily manipulate images on-the-fly
using standard HTTP query strings eliminating tedious image
production tasks, therefore increasing developer’s efficiency while
