Professional Linux Certification Program Available

The Linux Certificate is awarded to those individuals who have
demonstrated proficiency in the use of the Linux operating system,
utilities and its applications. Proficiency is demonstrated with
earning passing grades on written and oral examinations and
hands-on demonstrations.

The certificate will be based upon proficiency in the five topic
areas listed below:

  1. Linux Philosophy and Installation
  2. Internet Connectivity
  3. Local Area and Intranet Connectivity
  4. Linux Configuration and System Administration
  5. Security

Each of the above five areas contain enough information to fill
a minimum of five units of 32 hours of classroom contact each for a
160-hour classroom contact equilvalent.
