Resolve Skype crashing (ia32-libs issue) in Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick Meerkat

“Recently, Skype stopped working for me and some other
users that are using the Beta release of Maverick (Ubuntu 10.10).
This error is due to an update to the ia32-libs library. The newest
version (ia32-libs_20090808ubuntu5) breaks Skype.

“The solution for this is to downgrade ia32 libs to version
‘20090808ubuntu4′. If you can’t force the old version
(ia32-libs_20090808ubuntu4), you can download it at:”
