“One of the great things about Linux, of course, is that one can
easily choose a new desktop. I like XFCE because it’s highly
customizable, fast as blazes and still maximizes the desktop on my
little netbook (yeah, we’ve got one computer still running
Microsoft Windows XP and another running Windows 7 around here
— sue me). If you want your desktop to look like Windows XP
with a bit more speed and a couple of extra bells and whistles
thrown in, XFCE might just be the thing to get you over those Unity
blues.”
