Siemens presents SAP R/3 on Linux on CeBIT ’99

“SBS IP (Siemens Business Services – Information Processing)
with its three german main sites Fürth, Munic and Paderborn is
running one of the largest R/3 data centers worldwide. About 300
R/3 systems with Siemens RM systems as database and application
servers are being employed for 45,000 users. In this connection
Siemens ICP and SBS IP will test an expansion of the R/3 UNIX
servers with Linux on PRIMERGY servers.”
