Canonical will join forces with Intel to collaborate around Intel’s IoT (Internet of Things) gateways and the Snappy Ubuntu Core operating system for IoT devices.
The Intel IoT gateway device will come with built-in support for Snap Stores, which offer a unique model that allows multiple apps to be deployed on Intel’s Internet of Things gateway, transforming it into a platform for multiple sectors, including energy management, media, lighting, health, and security.
