a collaboration with Hitachi Semiconductors, which will feature
products with Lineo Embedix Linux software and Hitachi’s SuperH
RISC processors.”
“NetMaster, Inc. from Chilliwack, B.C., demonstrated Gateway
Guardian, a Linux-based security program that plays off the open
source OS’ scalability. The program secures connections between
2-200 or more computers and its Java interface means people don’t
need to know Linux to install or use it.”
