returning back into the spotlight. The operating system got a huge
boost today due to the announcement by Dell and Red Hat Software to
work even closer together
in the development and deployment of
Linux as another options besides Microsoft Windows and Novell
Netware. The companies announced that Red Hat [Nasdaq:RHAT] Linux
will be offered to customers as one of three available operating
systems for all Dell [Nasdaq: DELL] products including server and
laptops….”

“To accelerate Red Hat Linux’s brand association as the Linux,
Red Hat and Dell also announced the formation of the ‘One Source
Alliance’. The alliance means that Dell will depend on Red Hat’s
development team to better Red Hat Linux for Dell customers while
Dell focuses on its core competencies. Red Hat will gain more
customers which it can sell support services and other services
associated with the upkeep and running of the enterprise.”
