Canada Computes: Vancouver startup makes Linux connections

putting a little spin on Linux these days.”

the imbedded computing market. But, unlike this West Coast
company’s other products, the new CerfBoard comes pre-equipped with
Linux, the open-source operating system that has gained recognition
as a sturdy, compact, Microsoft Windows killer.

“Don’t make the mistake, however, of suggesting Intrinsyc is
jumping on the Linux bandwagon. Derek Spratt, the company’s CEO,
won’t have any of it.”
