“Server-computer maker VA Linux Systems on Wednesday said it
has agreed to buy two privately held companies: San Diego-based
TruSolutions and Santa Clara, Calif.-based NetAttach.”
“TruSolutions, with expertise in designing low-cost Linux-based
servers that stack in racks, will be bought for a combination of
cash and stock worth about $194 million, the companies said…”
“NetAttach, which has developed Linux-based storage technology,
will get $29.2 million in stock and about $10 million in cash.”
