CNET News: Intel Forms Internal Open-Source Group

“Intel has created a group to focus on Linux and other
open-source software issues, the newest move to bring the
open-source operating system closer to parity with competing
products from Microsoft.

“Intel spokesman Michael Houlihan confirmed the creation of the
Open Source Program Office and said on Tuesday that Jon Bork,
formerly general manager of the home product group, was named its
leader on Thursday…”
