Linux market, with Turbolinux, a pioneer in Linux clustering and
other software initiatives.”
“Let’s face it, the support market for the enterprise did
not develop like we thought it would. Most of our customers are the
big OEMs–the IBMs, Compaqs and Suns–or ISVs. We have very few
corporate customers,” he explains. “That’s directly related to our
early assumptions, which were wrong about what the [Linux] adoption
patterns were going to be.“
