“With a directory war looming, Novell Inc. is partnering with
key systems integrators to advance Novell Directory Services
eDirectory in the enterprise market.

The company, based here, poised for battle as Microsoft Corp.
prepares to ship its Windows 2000 Active Directory, has enlisted
the help of large systems integrators such as Perot Systems Corp.
and Deloitte & Touche LLP to integrate NDS eDirectory with
enterprise resource planning, supply chain management, customer
relationship management and other mission-critical, e-business
applications.

NDS eDirectory, unveiled at Comdex/Fall last year, is
Novell’s cross-platform LDAP directory service that runs across
NetWare, Windows NT and Solaris,and soon Linux, Compaq Tru64 and
Windows 2000,platforms.”
