e-smith announces 4.1 beta 3 release of server for small and medium-size businesses

e-smith inc is pleased to announce the availability of the third
developer preview of e-smith server and gateway 4.1 —
e-smith-4.1Beta3. This release is based on RedHat 7.0 with all
available updates. It also includes all updates mentioned in the
recent 4.0.1 release, which can be found here.

e-smith 4.1 contains several new features, including SSL,
SSL-enabled Webmail, OpenSSH, Tape Backup support, better anti-spam
protection, and improved packet filtering on the external
interface. It also includes new support for PPP over Ethernet for
ADSL via the external interface, and includes support for many
additional ethernet cards.
