“Solution-Provider Partners Place OpenLinux Above Other
Distributions Surveyed”

“In VARBusiness’ 2000 Annual Report Card (ARC), OpenLinux from
Caldera Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: CALD) received the highest rating
among all Linux distributions surveyed. Results of the ARC were
announced in the October 16, 2000 issue of VARBusiness. The ARC
survey covered 12 product categories, including operating
platforms.

“This is important validation for OpenLinux,” said Kerry Brock,
vice president of marketing for Caldera Systems. “The results are
from individuals who know Caldera and recognize that we provide
solid Linux solutions for business. We are committed to delivering
the best in open source technology – and this report underscores
it.”
