when he came aboard Sun Microsystems as chief operating platforms
officer. Some of the more reactionary members of the Linux
community, in which Murdock is highly regarded as the founder of
the Debian GNU/Linux distribution, were a bit concerned (read:
irked), but for the most part, many people just expressed
