“Villeroy & Boch, a manufacturer of ceramic products, said
Wednesday it has selected Linux as the platform of choice for
supporting critical business applications, including those from SAP
AG. It’s another big endorsement of Linux as a platform to run
applications that are central to the functioning of a business.

“Villeroy & Bach said it selected Red Hat Linux Advanced
Server, and has plans to deploy the operating system in support of
its SAP application and database servers following SAP
certification on the OS. …”
