“Mandriva hired me for the Nepomuk project as a link to the KDE
community. As such I am heading the KDE implementation of the
semantic desktop Nepomuk is aiming for and try to get the Nepomuk
technologies into KDE. (So far quite successfully I would say: the
implementation was just moved into kdelibs/kdebase) Semantic
Desktop means to make more of the data that is available all day on
your desktop, data that is created, discarded, duplicated, and so
on.”
