“Intershop Communications and Cobalt Networks have teamed up
to produce an eCommerce appliance based on the Linux operating
system.
The offering, known as Intershop RaQ, enables ISPs to
provide small to medium enterprises (SMEs) with a convenient and
cost effective way of getting into on-line sales.”

“Intershop RaQ consists of Cobalt’s rack mountable RaQ server
appliance and Intershop Merchant on Linux Red Hat 6.0. It comes
pre-configured with Apache Web server and other components needed
to provide the core web capability upon which developers can build
their solutions. Load balancing and back office management tools
are bundled for rapid deployment, scalability and reduced cost of
ownership.”
