Question: Can you tell me some of the areas of
focus for the conference?

Asay: In particular, on the CIO side, we have
a heavy focus on the emerging open source applications market. We
have dedicated sessions on open source business intelligence, CRM,
and a range of others and, somewhat differently from what we’ve
done in the past, where we’ve had general overviews of the open
source applications and middleware markets, this time we’re taking
deep dives into particular areas. A CIO or CTO coming into one of
these sessions will be able to walk out knowing pretty darned well
where the lay of the land is, who the major players are, what the
state of the technology is, whether it’s actually ready for
enterprise adoption…”
