even higher number. Ideally, it will grow market share as Linux
expands its own share of operating system-based phones. Nokia,
which makes two-thirds of the world’s phone handsets, is an
Openwave customer in the CDMA space; Nokia wants to deliver its
functionality in house and demonstrate good software capabilities.
Even though in some ways Nokia is a competitor, Openwave would like
to retain Nokia as a customer as the Finnish handset maker turns
more toward Linux…”
