“This column last discussed Novell in detail on Feb. 23, 2004.
At the time, I thought the stock price could increase long term but
wanted to hold off buying the stock in the intermediate term (a few
months), since I thought it would languish for a while. My
intermediate-term caution was largely due to three factors.

  • “First, my continuing bearishness on the broader market

    March 10.
