forum.

“Microsoft is taking the Linux threat seriously, although recent
market share figures have not shown Linux stealing significant
sales–yet.

“According to Calum Russell, Microsoft’s
solutions marketing manager for IT infrastructure, Linux is
currently eating into Sun and Novell’s market
share far more than Microsoft’s. ‘But we know
that Linux is already targeting Windows customers and we need to be
ready,’ said Russell…”
