For those of you keeping score at home: a company press release
today officially confirmed the name change:

“The Company reaffirmed that, effective at the open of trading
on January 22nd, its name will change from Inprise Corporation to
Borland Software Corporation, and its Nasdaq ticker symbol will
change from “INPR” to “BORL.” The Company will trade as Borland
from that date forward.”
