“A long, long time ago, in a galaxy far away there used to be a
company called Novell. This company used to rule the roost with its
software and many networks were running Netware and a variety of
Novell services. As time went on, the good folks at Novell started
loosing their grip too much, slipping towards software relegation
in a game that was becoming a one team match. It seemed that the
mighty Microsoft had taken over, and Novell were to become just
another entry in the famed history books.

“But no, we first heard some rumblings that Novell were going to
offer a Linux basis for its software as opposed to Netware. This
caused headlines in the computing world, people looked at the
Novell website for a while and then went back to how it was before.
But stop, there is more, we then heard that Novell had purchased
Ximian; the fine company that develops and markets… er…
Evolution…”
