“My email was dealt with a kindly soul called Paula Hunter who
was very happy to help me with my barrage of questions, and
although she did not want our original discussion to be posted
online, she consented to me sending some questions that they can
answer. Here my good friends, are those questions and answers.

“Although the different members of UnitedLinux are equal
sharing in the UnitedLinux partnership, does anyone have any form
of control?

“Much like a consortium, we have policies and procedures
which govern decision making. Each member has representation in
this decision making. Our technology partners also have formal
representation with regard to our product roadmap and development
plans.

“Right, so here it seems the UnitedLinux consortium is fairly
equal in each members rights to the consortium. Does this mean that
one member could grab the others by the happysacks and not let go?
Reasonable response I thought, but then again, it was not exactly a
knee shaving question. Let us get a bit meatier…”
